1st day

First morning in a foreign land. Wonder how ya feeling now? Hope you had breakfast/lunch/dinner. Do take lots of fluids as its cold season *if I'm not wrong*
Anyway, I woke up at 9.30am. Barely able to watch "Dynamic Korea". Ate 2 slices of toast with no spread. Read the papers before sending my berms for alteration and buy lunch at the same time. Came back to try and attempt my homework but...
Finally felt hungry and at my economical rice - pork cutlet with some green vege and curry gravy.
Went back to watching Korean drama. After one episode, I realised school is actually starting. Filed my URBAN neatly then realised my lab coats are not washed. Washed both coats. Hung *sounds wrong =X* them dry. Ate dumplings (tang yuan) then bathed. Watched another episode before sleeping. After I woke up, ate dinner and here I am =)

Truth is...reality has already sank in. Much much deeper than yesterday. Coping with it though. Though it would be really tough since school starts tml. Anyway, you take care too. By now I do hope you have taken dinner and maybe doing late night shopping or else resting well for your performance which I assume starts tml? LOL.

the start of temporary lonliness...

It is 12am/0000hr of Sunday. 11 hours has passed since the flight was scheduled to take off. I promised not to emo, but...
The truth sank in as seconds turn to minutes and to hours. I can't help but acknowledge that I am temporarily alone. Anyway, for the next 6 days, I will dedicate my post to writing my feelings =).
Physically unavailable, but spiritually here.
After I left, I went with ter for his hair cut and colour. Passed the time by watching some Korean drama in my phone. After that, went home. Thought that I wouldn't sign into msn as there was no point. But got hook to the net and started uploading all my pictures on Facebook. Had fried rice for dinner and continued using the net - listening to music, checking mail, chatting on the phone, eating and eating and eating =)
Here I am updating my blog. Anyway, I do hope you are sleeping right now. If I'm not wrong, its the same time as Singapore. Though I don't know when is your performance, please take care of yourself. Will try to get some sleep after one episode of my drama. Good night and sweet dreams =p

9am and shopping!!!

I woke up at 4am this morning. I couldn't sleep due to runny nose and wadeva-stuff I was/is down with. But quite glad is has cleared up by now. Couldn't believe what my mom told me - we were going shopping at 8.30am at ISETAN. Not to buy fish, vegetable, meat or other groceries BUT actual retail stuff!
Had my breakfast, changed and off to the bus stop. Missed 196 and 16 while climbing the stairs. Wait a while for the next bus to Bedok central. *after a long while* 31 came. A single decker bus. The air-conditioning was having probs and the bus suddenly slowed down after the first stop (there is another 2 stops)...Then the driver announced that the bus had 'broken' down and we had to wait for another bus. *KAM SUAI* early in the morning had to face this. Oh well, walked to MRT instead. Took the MRT to Orchard. And when I finally arrived at ISETAN Scotts...

OMG! There was like a LONG queue. LOL. Anyway, it was REALLY CROWDED. And I really crowded is just an understatement. I had so much trouble moving from one place to another let alone one level to another. Especially the ladies shoe section. AUNTIES everywhere!!!


After that, had lunch at my FAVOURITE Korean restaurant at FAR EAST PLAZA. Ordered the usual spicy rice cake. YUM! thanks mummy =) Next, went to Robinson. Not as crowded but my energy level dropped drastically after lunch. Felt so tired and sleepy.



Today was fun yet...
Anyway, shopping was fun and I need money to pay for my stuff!!! =( till next time.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Its the time of the year - CHRISTMAS. Though this festival is getting more and more commercialized, the spirit of Christmas has always been a mixed of two things. Santa Claus (Saint Nicholas) and the birth of Christ. It was said that the bible did not state the exact date of the birth of Christ. Neither did it state that 25 December was to commemorate the birth of Christ.
Santa Claus is a fairy tale based on the true story of Saint Nicholas. The guy who helped the poor during winter. To commemorate this guy, the church regard him as a Saint. However, how much does Singaporeans actually know about Christmas? Oh well...

Celebrated with my maternal relatives on Christmas eve. These were the pictures taken.

Balcony Bar!

Went to Balcony Bar...again. haha. my eye candy left. =( but at least I have some sparks in my life now =p. Anyway, had alcohol again. The poison being...Bailey's Irish Cream. yummy! ter had iced glass raspberry margarita which is slightly sweet but yum too. I really think I am gonna be an alcoholic soon. We shared honey prawn dumplings and a chicken club sandwich. =)





So today was all sun BUT...rain followed in the late afternoon. sighs. anyway, help weeluan to make her muffins. really fun. then made cream of mushroom. Don't you think it looks good. =p hehe

these few days, so many things happened. from never to first. from none to one.
the feelings and emotions ran wild. Action spoke for itself that day. I felt it. But...there was always a however/but that scar the otherwise fantastic dream, the dream of macarons and truffles and lots of sugary sweet stuff. a connection.
I gladly accepted it. The dream that kept me going; this dream occurred repeatedly and when it finally happened, I was left stunned.

END OF TERM TEST (:

Before my term test, went to IKEA to have a look at furnitures for my uncle...I think. Anyway, it was really huge and was walking for like 2 hours or so. Good place to train your stamina. After much viewing of furniture and stuff, went to have dinner at the cafeteria. The famous meatballs, chicken wings and drinks.

So after that stupid talk. Went home to slack. And the impact of the 2 weeks of holidays finally hit me. BUT, my stupid internet connection is getting on my nerves. Was supposed to update my blog like on friday but...Oh well...
Anyway, so I went out with wayne. Went to Plaza Sing first. IT WAS FREAKING CROWDED. lol. So, took a bus down to Orchard according the original plan of Sushi Tei but it was packed; FULL HOUSE. Had cravings of TCC (the coffee connoisseur). I had the mushroom crepe while he had garlic prawn pasta which I originally wanted. And lastly, polished of with my favourite MUDDY MUD PIE! *winston you are such a pig. =X*




For the first time, I had trouble finishing my dessert. I came to conclusion: I had a main and WT was too full. Oh well, I left a small portion. HAHA =p

drinking...for sorrow?

Havent been blogging for centuries. Anyway, had some internet probs. F*&K! Anyway, everything has been cleared thanks to me again. It used to be my dad who clears this sort of stuff, but ever since my bro when to stay at his hostel, dad became busy and mom who is not really a tech-geek so the responsibility fell on me. Anyway...
This week has been a crazy one. The last week before the term test. Had to struggle to finish the project that was supposed to be handed in on monday. That was settled. Followed by some lab assignment which was due on Tuesday. Went early in the morning to use internet in school for fear of not being able to concentrate at home. That was settled. Wednesday and Thursday were pretty care-free but research on some countries for presentation. Today was my free day but stayed at home TRYING to get some study. But fail. Oh well, after this, I will TRY to study. *fingers crossed*
