Traveling woes...

A long struggle between Uniform-don students (JCs & ITE) VS. Non-uniform-don students (Polytechnics) regarding transportation fares:
Why do people who choose the Polytechnic route pay MORE $$$ (for transportation) as compared to their peers who enter the JCs and ITE?

Personally, I have always resented the fact that we (as Poly students) have to pay more. Especially more so when BS* reasons like 'able to find job' and 'Tertiary student' come out from peoples' mouth. Aren't JCs students considered Tertiary students? Do we get a higher pay as compared with our JC counterparts (who have been to the U)?

This is not a personal attack at my peers who chose the JC or ITE path. There is NOTHING personal. It is a matter of 'why do we have to pay nearly DOUBLE of the usual student fares'?

For Polytechnic students who disagree with the current situation, please sign this online petition in hopes of a better situation for current and future students. (click on 'this')

24/7

24/7. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. My schedule has been packed back to back leaving me hardly any time to eat, drink, sleep and breath. I seriously need a proper vacation. Decided not to go to the hospital today just so I can get some stuff done. Anyway, a happy belated 19th birthday to myself. Thanks to ALL the fantastic people who wish me (too many, will put your names in my next posts with pictures of what happen). A happy belated birthday to KHIM BOON. It seems we haven't been hanging out often. Anyway, This post is a notice that I might be MIA for a while. I may have died and if I do, I invite everyone to my funeral =). But, I don't think I will die so easily right.

Macdonald's...can?

In this age of technology, the impossible can become possible. Men to women, women to men, drop in USD, the recent economic bubble of AIG and the likes. BUT...cheese burger in a can? That is processed food being processed. How much progress in the process-ing before we say it is too much? =X. Anyway, the burger in a can is real.

P.S. I got this info from my email =p (thanks Rach.)

I even went to find the webbie: click here

Would you pay €3.95 (about S$8.20) for cheese burger?

The good 'ol times before computers

I came across this email and couldn't resist the temptation to share with you guys. And if you still remember this, then we are from the same generation. Arrr, the good ol' days. =)

'rubber' fights
"Captain Planet! Who's the hero? Gonna take....down to zero!" forgot the lyrics =p

I used to have this. Make all sort of creepy crawlies.
Slightly sweet with a BLOW of BBQ taste.
BEE-BEE! My favourite from the 'MAMA' shop

All boys' and tomboys' FAV when they were growing up - POWER RANGERS! "It's morphing time!"

Enjoy the nostalgia =)
