The Ocean.

The Ocean. Controlled by the waning or waxing moon. Tides high or tides low, water come as it goes. Waves of emotions. Like the water, when pushed away, it will flow up the shore once more. It can't be hidden no more. *sighs* =(




As I walked on the dim lighted road, it suddenly dawn on me that I was in denial the whole time. I could have forgotten the memories, the experience, the good and the bad...but there was one think I couldn't forget - the emotions. No matter how forgetful I can be, the essence of the emotions will always be there. Secretly, I longed for it. Sometimes, I wondered will I ever get it. Its 2am on a seemingly dull Sunday morning. I guess the alcohol is losing its effects.

Today is Boon Tong's Birthday! His 27th Birthday to be exact. Must HIGHLIGHT the 27th part =X. I never knew sexy can be brought back...in the form of CAKE?! HAHA! Enjoy the pictures =D

Liquid Fire.

It seems that in life, there are many obstacles. And because of these obstacles, it makes us a better person.
Been there, done that. Well, its true that life is never (and will never be) fair. Catching you off guard and destroying everything with a deadly kiss. But nonetheless, we learn to pick up ourselves, brush off the dirt and continue in life.

To learn to participate actively in a charade is not an easy task. Especially when its a bias one. Without caring for anything, verbal exchange took place. But on a microscopic level on the nitty-gritty details, flaws were found. And through those flaws are what causes eruption of volcanoes. I guess when inactive it looks peaceful and calm, but when active, it becomes alive, enraged and filled with liquid fire.

Turning back the time would be an impossible task. Why? Randomly thinking during my holiday and I suddenly came to conclusion: If turning back the time/return to the past is possible entering the future would be too. But the future is a mysterious and unknown one. Next, if returning to the past is possible, we would have seen our future selves returning to the present to show that its possible. But a day longer without this happening is a day longer time travel is not possible. And it seems that if time travel is possible, a time loop would be created and difficult to break - We would return to the past to prove time traveling is possible and our past selves would do the exact same thing in near future, this creating an ever lasting time loop. Does all these make sense? Perhaps...perhaps not =)

Which bring us back to liquid fire. Since turning back the time is not possible, learning the correct steps in playing a charade is crucial to succeed in life.


My random thoughts since I woke up at 2.30am this Wednesday morning. =D

Waking up at 6am.
Start work at 8.30+++am.
End work at 5.30+++pm.
Reach home at 7.30+++pm.
Have dinner, bathe, check mail, touch a bit of FS = 12am(next day)
Sleep and this ritual continues. 6 days a week, 4 weeks a month and so far this is the 6th week. 10 more weeks to go. Good Luck to me!

My condolences to my relatives. My paternal great grand second-aunt (complicated connections) just passed away. Kinda shocking as I just saw her during this year's CNY. *sighs* Life is truly fragile.


It is times like these when I feel I am on the verge of breaking down. It is also during times like these when I felt I am not the only one suffering and that the world has bigger problems. There are times like these...
At times, I secretly wish for Death to take me away from this world. The never ending rat race is becoming too much for me. I just wish everything will come to a standstill for just one minute so that we can reflect. On the things we have done and given a second chance, would you repeat the same action or change... would I?

Game begins with the below arrangement; 5 fingers but only 1 pair is allowed to split

Try to open both thumbs. Thumbs represent our parents. They can be opened because all human are not immune to sickness and death; our parents will leave us one day.

Please close both thumbs and next, open both index fingers. Index fingers represent brothers and sisters. They can be opened because they will have their own family and thus leave us too.

Now, close back both index fingers and open both little fingers. They represent your children. Sooner or later they too will leave us for they’ve got their own lives to live.

If its jealousy, I got pass that eons ago. If its anger, I try to release my grasp. If its sadness, I release it or suppress it till I smile. If its happiness, I think something must have went wrong. That's just how my life is and will be so or till next time.

Integrity. Basic of all basics that earns the trust of people around you. But lying to yourself? Is that even possible? Perhaps escapism prevents the nasty truth from sinking in and allowing it to disperse into our very existence.

I will be stronger in every sense of the word. But there would be pockets of time where my mind just drifts away. Forgive me if I stray from my promise. Constant reminders as my construction is pounding the foundation deep, deep into the grounds. May this cast away my useless emotions =D

Cakes...again?!

LATE!!! Okay, so its a Saturday. Yes, I know. Its a weekend and wins is WORKING??? No choice la. Intern only ma. Anyway, secret secret; we were helping Chef Freddy with baking. OMGawd, not secret anymore! haha =p. Oh, before I forget HAPPY MAMA DAY! *I am so late right =X*That was what the cakes were for; the patients' (who were in AH) moms. AH is so sweet right? =p *wins is not sucking up*

NOTE: We washed our hands THOROUGHLY before attempting anything below =D.

After the assembling of the cake. It is time for packing! Factory operation time =D!

Step 1: Take a piece of the cake and place it at the bottom left-hand corner of the plastic packaging.

Step 2: Take another piece of cake and place it at the top right-hand corner of the plastic packaging.

Step 3: Next, sealed the packaging with a piece of clear tape.
Step 4: Label the packaging with our signature sticker.

Below pictures are tea time snacks for A1 patients. These 2 are the extras. Don't be fool by the fantastic presentation. It is no where as good as real fattening desserts you see outside. =X But I would say that it is acceptable if I'm a patient.


After working in AH for more than a month, and at the rate I am conducting food evaluation, I am going to gain weight real soon. I am on a mission to start running and exercising. Anyone interesting in accompanying me? =p

Cakes. How do I even start on this topic. My ideal cake has to be one of these flavours: Chocolate (deep, dark, bitter sweet), Durian, Mango, Rum & Raisin CHEESECAKE, Tiramisu and MANY MANY MORE!
I am a cake person. I just love the sight, smell, look...basically I LOVE CAKES! From the richness of the cream to the oomph factor of the buttery-goodness of pound cakes. I love 'em all. Did I mention that I love cakes? =p

Today, I am gonna feature a BEAUTIFUL cake done by a new pastry chef (Freddy =D). Every beginning week of the month, a cake would be baked to celebrate any staff birthday in that particular month. And the lucky few this month are Boon Tong, Mary and Mar-mode [Muslim name]. OMGawd, apologies for incorrect spelling =p

I came in slightly late BUT just in time to see the cream being applied.
